    A Much Needed Downgrade

    With the S&P downgrading the US credit rating and much of the nation struggling. I think what was done is the right thing to do. We got in this mess by ignoring the obvious. Yesterday we sent a spacecraft to Jupiter and the cost was 1.1 billion dollars. Who cares how Jupiter was formed! I know some states that could have used that money for good things. I don't know what's going to happen in the future, but hitting rock bottom for this country may just be a healthy thing. This whole situation reminds me of some people who get a $400/month pay raise and celebrate by getting a $600/month car payment.
