    Colorado Springs Fire / Waldo Canyon Fire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     SilverViking of Colorado Springs, Colorado, documented the Waldo Canyon fire on June 26. He describes the mandatory evacuation of his community as chaotic. "I watched several subdivisions ignite like matches, I could hear the sirens of police and fire trucks to the north and the sounds of large explosions every few minutes coming from the surrounding neighborhoods burning."     Additional Pictures taken by Cody Muth at Ute Valley Park between 6-10pm. The destructive force was like a tornado -- destroying some homes while leaving others completely unharmed.
