Remember Digeo Maridona scored infamous goal using his hand which was never called as foul or for reply and kicked England out of World cup soccer in 1986 which he later claimed that goal as GOD's HAND. Well it happened again to Ireland and kicked them out of world cup qualifier and lost the last spot to France. The ball was handled not once but twice and the credit goes to Thierry Henry. This goal cost ireland their last sopt for next world cup soccer. Thierry Henry who is looked up many as idol has put his unethical and unprofessiol show on field last week by this act.

It was neither called as foul nor went for reply in sipte of Irish players request to referee. The rage went so high that even French Prime minister apologies to Irish soccer fans after the game.

Even today where Technology has improved so much and contributed to various sports unethical events are still takin place. I don think that refree and upaires should be replaced by ROBOTS but there should be certain freedom to the players to challange refrees decision few time durin the play and should be considered for reply or TV referee. Like in US open tennis, Shuttel batmenton, Ping pong, cricket, etc etc...

My iPod's Guilty Pleasure

I don't want to give it away...but truly, I have a guilty pleasure on my iPod that most people can't appreciate. HINT: It's the music/CD of a sibling in one of the world's most famous music families. Precious: Intense, Disturbing Drama Has Oscar Buzz

These types of films are usually "Critics Darlings" for Oscar, and this picture will definitely be nominated for several academy awards next year.

Set in Harlem in 1987, it's the story of an illiterate, heavy set black woman who overcomes incest, rape, and mental/physical abuse to turn her life around at an alternative school. Saved by her high school principle, and mentored by her sweet Alt school teacher, Precious learns to read, and to fight her way out of her personal hell.

Mariah Carey is excellent as her social worker, and the woman who plays Precious was an unknown actress - with no experience - who won the part thru a nationwide casting call of over 300 woman.

You will pull your hankies out big time half way thru the film, and your tears will flow to the end.

"Precious" is not for everyone - But Oscars are waiting.

Grade: A -

What I'm watching on TV - Scare Tactics & Extreme Home Makeover

I'm a very busy person and do not have time to watch TV but there are two shows that I try to DVR when I have time to relax, Scare Tactics and Extreme Home Makeover. When I need a real good laugh it's Scare Tactics, when I need a good cry it's Extreme Home Makeover. I also enjoy the news but it can be very depressing sometimes and thank goodness Comedy Central have two good shows: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.

Both shows make the daily bad news seem lite and entertaining to watch.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow is concerned that President Obama's trip abroad has served to bring out "the unhinged among the president's critics."

Not only have the Wall Street Journal and the hosts of Fox News been issuing their usual dark mutterings, but a new slogan has began appearing on bumper stickers, tshirts, and even teddy bears: "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8."

That psalm reads, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow."

Maddow seemed mainly amused by the teddy bears, but when she turned for comment to former right-wing evangelical leader Frank Schaeffer, he emphasized that in a religious context "it means something more threatening."

"The situation that I find genuinely frightening right now," Schaeffer explained, "is that you have a ramping up of biblical language ... and what it's coalescing into is branding Obama ... as 'not us.' ... Now he joins the ranks of the unjust kings of ancient Israel ... who should be slaughtered, if not by God then by just men."

"Really, this is trawling for assassins," continued Schaeffer, "and this is serious business. It's un-American, it's unpatriotic, and it goes to show that the religious right, the Republican far right, have coalesced into a group that truly want American revolution. ... They cannot be dismissed as just crazies on the fringe. ... This bumper sticker simply says to them, 'It's open season.'"

Appearing increasingly agitated, Schaeffer went on to say, "This is the American version of the Taliban. The Taliban quotes the Koran, and Al Qaeda quotes certain verses in the Koran, in or out of context, calling for jihad and bloody war and the curse of Allah on infidels. This is the Old Testament biblical equivalent of calling for holy war. ... And what surprises me is that responsible -- if you can put it that way -- Republican leadership, and the editors at some of these Christian magazines .... do not stand up in holy horror and denounce this."

"I would just say to them, 'Where the hell are you?'" Schaeffer concluded. "'This is not funny any more, and be it on your head if something happens to our president.' ... There are not many steps left on this insane path."

three pretty violations i must report in the last 24 hours: my insurance adjuster calling me harrassing,alleging he does not understand a word i say and asking for yes or no answers to his leading questions when i must say the truth, all the truth and nothing but the truth withouth allowing myself to be mislead but he would not let me abound on his questions to make everithing perfectly clear, thus he would distort my answers by not allowing me to make a complete statement; i told him to write to me with the yes and no questions and a space for my statement and i will answer in writing in perfect english, my native language which he supposed it was not when he said he could not understand me. also it's been three months now me attemting to get food stamps from access florida when my full check goes to pay rent and according to ssa i am an adult child, a child nonetheless though capable of taking care of my own person, finances and affairs and a child cannot be denied food stamps, but they have been denied to me in florida up to now although georgia on the same prerrogative let me have them,and also my photos posted in i report yesterday thrice after posting an article on hearing from a local radio station that the venezuelan economy fell 50% this month or week on top of a previous 20% decline, all day i was posting my coconut photos like the ones i illustrate here and everytime they were removed from page one of latest i reports seconds after posting although i rep[ort supposedly does not censor. so there you are:government,private and press gross violations-WHYWHYWHY.....

If the year 2012 is going to be a peak time for solar flares, as scientists anticipate, and one big one does penetrate the magnetic field of the Earth and knock out civilization’s electrical grid worldwide, then it would seem sensible to me to set up if it is not already in place a global monitoring system that would alert all the utilities that supply electrical power world-wide to shut them down to avoid their destruction by a super-sized magnetic-electrical surge from the sun.

Since the surge could reach the Earth within minutes, it would seem prudent to either mandate the installation of some type of shielded surge protection systems if possible and if they are not already in place, or a manual shut-down procedure and communications system if that is also not already in place.

As the Discovery Channel’s production “2012” scientists point out, we are incredibly vulnerable otherwise to a total disruption of power, prolonged blackouts and months of being left without electrical power. This situation would be further hampered by the fact that power needed to repair and/or replace damaged or destroyed power stations could otherwise be largely unavailable.

As the scientists in the Discovery Channel’s production mentioned, otherwise we would just have to hope the “perfect storm” involving chain reactions of super volcanoes, earthquakes and super tsunamis triggered by the potential mega-solar flares are minimal or do not take place to any doomsday magnitude.
