Ok I was very diturberd when I herd that Debbie Rowe Michael Jacksons ex-wife is trying to seek custody of 2 of the children.Disgusting I think, they said that Debbie was givin 8.5million dollars to give her parental right up.She really sold her kids for 8.5 million for one children or matter fact human beings are priceless you cant put a price on your children.It was said that Debbie Rowe tried to get her children back once when Michael was on trial for accused molestation and also because she said she was uncomfortable with him geting to close to the Nation of Islam.What is that suppose to mean did Debbie not like the Nation of Islam or muslims in gernal very rascist and judgementel I think.But, you see this is how people show you how uneducated they are.Why should we fear a religon just because a few made wrong choices.

Jaime and Shahzad's Wedding in NY Harbor

My husband Shahzad and I were married on April 16, 2009. For our wedding, we chose to take our guests on a harbor cruise after dinner, with the highlight of the cruise being a closeup view of the Statue of Liberty. Shahzad immigrated to the United States with his family in 1997 (most of them, including Shahzad, are now proud American citizens), while my family has been in North America for many generations. For us, giving both sides of the family a glimpse of Lady Liberty on our special day was deeply symbolic of the great ideals and opportunities, that along with our marriage, bind our unique mix of Vermonters and Pakistani-Americans together. Our pause in front of Liberty Island was an emotional and very meaningful moment for many of us.

Google Maps Changes

It seems that Google has recently changed the formula that decides how local websites are positioned in the local maps section.

After doing a bit of research we noticed that Google recently created a bunch of new guidelines.

Since the search engines do not have a system in place for checking the accuracy of a local business website, they are now turning to user reviews, website content, and other factor to determine what listings should get top positioning. One of my customers, a limo company in texas, complained that his call count drop from an average of 30 a day to 18 a day since google maps started enforcing their new guidelines.

I know the system is not perfect, but the main problem that I have with Google's system is that when a local search is performed, numerous listings for the same business, website and location often appear. There is no logic in place that stops a company from having numerous listings in the search results. If a company creates hundreds of listing chances are they could take over the map section. Thus, taking a chunk out of the maps marketshare.

Google needs to figure out a way to only show one listing per business per search. For comparison purposes, search engines like Bing and Yahoo have turned to the yellowpages.com database for local business listings.

I think that if Google wants to be a local leads leader, they need to start hiring people to check the accuracy of map listings. Or, maybe they should start certifying internet marketing companies to handle advertising on the maps section.

Whatever it is, something needs to be done to better the results of the google local listings.
