President Obama Bowing...Again!

Here we go again. Who's next to receive an official United States Presidential Bow? Chavez? Castro? Ahmadeinejad? Kim Jong-il?

We found a war to through off the chains of servitude to royalty and despots. We bow to no head of state nor do we expect any head of state to bow to us. We are on equal footing to all...until now, I guess.

For God's sake, I learned this basic concept back in elementary school. I know that President Obama did not go to elementary school in the United States, but damn...he does have a protocol officer, right?

I know, I know...many will say "It's the custom in Japan, Saudi Arabia, etc. to bow." Guess what? Last I checked, our president is not Japanese nor Saudi, and unless someone knows different, he needs to represent the United States as the Head of State.

Mr. President - You are the President of the United States. Please stop bowing to people and start acting like our Head of State when overseas.

Sarah: the only viable option

Now why do so many liberals hate Sarah? Because she is believable, well-liked and can get this country and economy rolling into a robust one, where jobs are abundant, and businesses thrive.

Now why would anyone be against that?

I'll tell you why.

Because Sarah will implement policies that will not keep the Democrats in power, but on the sidelines.

Because Sarah has real solutions to the millions of job losses that Obama has caused.

Because Sarah is real, and so likeable, and really the only viable option for 2010.

Sarah is vibrant, interesting, and draws huge crowds wherever she goes.

And to boot, she just happens to be a beautiful woman.

This scares liberals.

And if Sarah didn't have a good chance of becoming the next President, and the first woman President, the liberals would just ignore her.

But liberals can't ignore her.

Because they're scared she just might be our next President.

And wouldn't that be great.....for everyone.

Sarah Palin: Reality Gone Rogue

Sarah Palin’s memoir officially dropped today, and she’s been making the media circuit pushing her revisionist tome, and she’s not about to let reality get in the way of her facts.

Katie Couric apparently badgered her, deliberately making the VP candidate look bad by leaving most of their infamous interview on the cutting room floor. So the lengthy footage of Ms. Palin unable to name a single newspaper or a Supreme Court decision other than Roe v. Wade, was taken out of context. Rather than being embarrassed by her lack of wherewithall, Palin now feels sorry for Couric. The controversy surrounding her teenage daughter’s pregnancy was the result of hypocritical liberalism and not it’s surprise revelation after the Governor’s nomination- a governor mind you, that thought the best public policy was abstinence-only. And McCain campaign staffers were actually a bunch of jealous back-stabbers, not weary handlers trying to spin the best out of Palin’s copius and admitted screw-ups.

Palin would like us to believe her false narrative. Elicit sympathy while admiring her roguish nature as her book’s title suggests. While literature has added a luster of charming rebelliousness to the term rogue, it’s first and foremost meaning defines one who is aberrant and uncontrolled, someone dishonest. ‘Going Rogue’ is then an apt title for this autobiography.

Post asserts that, as expected, the critique of Major Hassan has turned into a condemnation of Islam. Truthfully & historically speaking though, Christianity & the Bible have been a source of terror for many. Whether it's the subjugation of women in the American home, the enslavement of Africans, or the destruction of Native Americans, Christianity does not have clean hands. Christianity has served as a force for good for millions of people throughout out history, but we can't neglect the evil. Islam has also made great contributions to the world, particularly in areas like math and science. The goal of this post is not to compare religious contributions. The goal is to remind us that one person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter. Many reading this will say that the enslavers, for example, weren't true Christians but will say the 911 hijackers represented true Islam. That's hypocritical. Every religion has blood on its hands. Less blood will be shed if we stopped condemning each other's religions and embraced them instead wherever possible.

She speaks the truth

This is why she is so hated. She tells it like it is. And no one has been able to produce any evidence that she has lied.

Now Obama is another story.

Everything he has said since he came on the radar screen has been a lie.

Difference between Dems and a true conservative.

Dems policies and lies are destroying the country.

Conservative's policies and truth will restore jobs.

Dems don't like jobs. Dems like bigger government so they can control everyone's money. And make us all serfs.

Conservatives want everyone to control their own money.

Another reason why Dems hate Sarah and why Dems hate conservatives.

So do you want to control your own life, or have government control your life?

It's your choice.

I don't want Obama and his kind to control me, that's for sure.

You see, Obama thinks he knows what's good for all of us. Obama doesn't think we have a brain. Obama doesn't think YOU have a brain, so he is going to control all your money, your healthcare, your food, and what you can do with your life, because he knows what is best for you.

Sarah is a true Reagan conservative. Dems hate that. so they make up lies about her. That's just what they do.

and those who vote for them, must support that.

My thoughts on this issue of the word bow and our President Obama,

respect our President,

President Obama is doing his job,

so many posts trashing him,

does this makes you feel better?

does this makes you proud to be an American?

does this makes you feel powerful?

does this makes you feel you have the only truth?

does this makes you feel you could do a better job than what President Obama is doing?

the word bow for me only exists when I pray to God to accept me in Heaven,

so after so many posts on the word bow,

so many I can´t even count them due to the amount of the posts,

my last question is

do you really feel all you problems are thanks to our President,

please look back and check who left this mess,

and respect President Obama,

HE IS

While you all sit back and blindly follow your so-called “Republican Leaders”, let me remind you what your so-called republican leaders have done.

They have sold out your children’s education to the highest bidder and have raised your taxes to pay to cover the costs of tests that once cost pennies on the dollar for the teachers to create tests to test the students on curriculum they have recently learned, now cost you between $10.00 - $15.00 per student, per test to cover the cost of the exams brought to you by the free market.

The republicans so called conservative ways have not only put profits before your children’s education, they also put greed before Americas future of tomorrow.

If these people have their way, the air you breathe today, will be the air, you cannot afford to breathe tomorrow!

Hello fellow iReporters,

I just wanted to say thank you for your patience through the BastaDobbs petition action. I read your comments and know that this action disrupted your community for a few days. I do think that disruption can be a good thing, breaking us out of our everyday mindsets and introducing us to ideas and stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. I hope that the growing chorus of voices who were saying ¡basta! (enough) to Lou Dobbs' vilification of Latino and immigrant communities was one of those stories.

CNN never reported on the BastaDobbs campaign even though they sent cameras to multiple public protests across the country that we organized. They even edited a BastaDobbs representative who made critical remarks about Dobbs on Anderson Cooper's show. So with our voice shut out of their television network, we decided to bring the story here, to iReports, so that the voices of more than 100,000 people making a stand against one of the most powerful news networks in the world would be heard. Because you are the people who watch the stream of iReports most closely, fortunately or unfortunately, you heard our story the loudest.

To set the record straight, it was not CNN who put these iReports up, and in fact I am still surprised and pleased that the admins let me and others speak our minds. I think this is a true testament to the egalitarian nature of this site and platform. I also hope that this story will inspire you all to speak out on changes you wish to see in the world.

This will be the last post from iBastadobbs for a while. But I am inspired by this community's hard work and even your efforts to silence our voice when you thought it was intolerable. Was the Republicans’ strategy for the last election to lose?

Are the Republicans really as dumb as some people think? Makes you wonder when you look at their candidates for the last presidential election, and I am not saying this in a condescending way either. I do not think that this was their initial game plan, but as the economy started to crash, I think their main goal was to actually lose the presidential elections and here is why.

First off I think McCain was the most respectable of all the republican candidates for the Republican Party. I may not agree with him 100% but at least the man has a good record and stands his ground. I do not think the people had it wrong when they chose him over the other republican candidates to run for president.

We all knew way before John McCain announced Sarah Palin that the economy was in trouble, the wars were out of hand, and America was facing severe turmoil with the political division we were seeing in this country. During this time, many republicans had turned their backs on George Bush and were completely disgusted with the way he was handling the country.

I also believe that the last administration knew long before the announcement that the economy was ready to bottom out. So why did John McCain choose Sarah Palin as a running mate for the presidential election? There were so many other options John McCain could of chosen but why on earth did he choose her? I think the Republican Party strategized this so John McCain would of intentionally lost the election in fear of losing more and more voters.

If America was going down because the economy was going to crash, and the 2 wars were basically at a loss with no real exit strategy, why should these 2 things happen on the Republican watch? If anything, why not hand the election over to the Democrats so the economy could crash and the wars could be lost on their watch, so when 2010 and 2012 comes along, they could act like the saviors for the country, gain control of the senate, the house, and the office of the president, when in fact, they caused both problems for this country. We all know how forgetful Americans are and all the Republican Party needed was a scapegoat to once again take control of the government.

To me Sarah Palin was an expandable political figure because she was in fact a nobody at that time and if anything, her political career was nothing in the eyes of the Republican Party so they used this woman to literally lose the presidential election so they could come back a few years later save this country from the failures they set up for the Democratic Party.

Sorry Sarah Palin, you were a tool for your political party, your high hopes were shot all to hell and you didn’t even know it.
